Our housekeeping staff endeavors to provide you with a clean environment. Every day your room is cleaned, the trash emptied, surfaces disinfected, the walls are spot cleaned, and the floors are vacuumed or mopped. We will make sure your bathroom is properly cleaned and stocked. In addition, housekeeping manages the cleanliness of common areas.


We offer laundry services (including bedding and linens) at no additional charge. You may also choose to have your laundry cleaned by a family member or friend. Please make sure to mark your personal clothing with your name. This helps reduce the possibility of clothing getting lost or misplaced.


Incoming mail is delivered unopened daily except on Sundays and holidays. You can request to receive your mail through a different outlet any time by notifying the Activities Department in writing. You may also request to have an activities staff member assist you with your mail by opening, reading, or helping you write a letter. Outgoing mail goes to the postal service within 24 hours, except on days when there is no regularly scheduled postal pick-up service. Postage stamps may be purchased in the Business Office during normal business hours. You also have the option to send an email using our Send a Greeting feature.


Our Maintenance Department is available for household maintenance issues. If you would like to hang pictures on the wall, we will provide you with nail hangers. We will replace light bulbs and repair plumbing issues as needed. Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any maintenance issues or repair needs.


Residents can choose, at any time, to have the center maintain a personal trust account on the resident’s behalf, in accordance with State and Federal requirements. Residents with a trust fund account may receive money from their account during the Center’s posted banking hours.


If you or your family is unable to provide transportation, we will assist you in arranging transportation with an appropriate service. Although we strive to arrange transportation services with reliable and prompt transportation companies, we cannot assure that the service will be timely or professional. Please let us know if your transportation service was good or bad so we can improve our recommendations.


We are happy to provide you with a walker, wheelchair, or cane as need arises. If you have your own walker, wheelchair, or cane you are welcome to bring that with you, however, the center will need to determine that it is appropriate for your current needs before you may use it in the center.
